Overview
Pofiler is a poker strategy support app. It is not a gambling platform, casino, sportsbook, payment processor, real-money poker site, hand analyzer, solver, or real-time automation tool.
We value your privacy. Pofiler is designed with a local-device-first data model where practical. We do not sell your personal data.
Information You Enter in the App
Pofiler may allow you to enter poker-related information, including:
- Hero profile details
- Villain profiles
- Villain names or labels
- Tendencies, tells, observations, notes, and traits
- Rosters and seating information
- Saved game setups
- Tournament details, payout details, bounty settings, and stack information
- Quick Read, Quick Tells, and live-read inputs
Most saved poker data is stored locally on your device unless you choose to export, share, back up, or otherwise transmit it.
Backend Processing
Some information you enter may be sent to Pofiler’s backend service when needed to generate strategy responses, calculate context, or provide app functionality.
Examples may include table setup, seat information, game type, tournament details, stack information, villain archetypes, Quick Read inputs, observations, tells, and related strategy context.
We do not sell this information.
Account Information
Pofiler does not currently require a user account to use the core app. If account features are introduced in the future, we may collect information such as your email address for account creation, authentication, support, and account management. Any account-related collection will be described in this Privacy Policy and in the app where appropriate.
Support Communications
If you contact us for support, we may receive your email address and any information you choose to include in your message.
Information Collected Automatically
When you download or use the app through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, those platforms may collect certain information according to their own privacy policies, such as:
- Device type and operating system
- Crash reports
- Diagnostic data
- Basic usage and performance information
Our backend hosting provider may also process technical information needed to operate the service, such as IP address, request timestamps, server logs, error logs, and security-related events.
How We Use Information

- Generate table, seat, and profile strategy responses
- Save and restore local app data on your device
- Support import/export and backup features
- Troubleshoot bugs, crashes, and technical issues

Local Data, Exports, and Backups
Pofiler stores many app-created items locally on your device, including saved villains, rosters, saved game setups, notes, tells, observations, and Quick Read-related data.
If you export or share data from the app, you control where that exported file is sent or stored. Exported files may contain poker profile information, villain names or labels, notes, tendencies, tells, rosters, tournament details, game setups, or other app data you created.
You are responsible for storing exported files securely.
Purchases and Subscriptions
If Pofiler offers paid features or subscriptions, purchases may be processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. These platforms process payment information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
We do not receive your full credit card number or payment card details from Apple or Google.
To provide paid features, we may process purchase-related information such as subscription status, product ID, transaction ID, receipt data, purchase token, renewal or expiration status, store platform, provider customer identifier, and entitlement status. We use this information to verify purchases, unlock paid features, prevent fraud, provide support, and maintain subscription access.
Third-Party Services
We use third-party services to operate, build, distribute, and support the app.
Amazon Web Services
We use Amazon Web Services to host backend services that support app functionality. Information sent to the backend may be processed through AWS-hosted infrastructure.
Apple and Google
The app may be distributed through the Apple App Store and/or Google Play Store. Apple and Google may collect information such as diagnostics, crash reports, device information, purchase information, and store-related usage data according to their own privacy policies.
RevenueCat
We may use RevenueCat to help manage subscriptions and paid-feature access. RevenueCat may process purchase and entitlement information, such as product IDs, app-user identifiers, transaction or receipt data, subscription status, renewal or expiration status, and entitlement status.
Expo / EAS
We may use Expo and EAS tools to build, distribute, or update the app. These services may process technical build, distribution, or update-related information.
Data Retention and Deletion
Local app data remains on your device unless you delete it, reset the app, uninstall the app, or remove specific saved items inside the app.
Support emails and related communications may be retained for as long as needed to respond to your request, maintain business records, or comply with legal obligations.
If account features are introduced in the future, we will provide a way to request deletion of account-related personal data.
You may contact us to request help with privacy-related questions or data deletion requests.
Data Security
We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed through the app and backend services.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s Privacy
Pofiler is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
No Sale of Personal Data
We do not sell your personal data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
